AllSync Data Import

This allows you to restore AllSync application data that was backed up using the AllSync Data Export. You can access the tool via the menu bar under the Tools menu item.
Note: Only backups from AllSync version 4 can be imported.

The following data can be imported:

• Options from AllSync, Scheduler, and Service Tool
• Logs from AllSync, Scheduler, and Service Tool
• Profiles and associated logs
• Scheduler tasks and associated logs
• VB scripts
• Archived log files

Procedure

Follow these steps to import the data:

1. Stop the Scheduler service via the Service Tool if it is still active.
2. Close the Scheduler and the Service Tool to ensure a successful import.
3. Select a backup file (.zip) created with AllSync version 4.
4. Select the application data you want to import.
5. Click the Import button.
6. The log will provide information about the import.
7. Click the Restart button to restart AllSync and apply the imported data.

Manual Restoration

Alternatively, you can manually restore the backup by extracting the contents of the ZIP file into the folder containing the application data of AllSync.
