How do I save/reload all current preferences ?

Post by thoste » 10 Mar 2009, 04:23

How do I save/reload all current preferences ?

Currently all settings (e.g. folders to exclude) are lost when I exit
AllDup.

When I want to perform a search a few days/weeks later
I have to re-enter them again.

So how to I let AllDup remember them?

Maybe such a function should be included in the next release.

Normally all settings will be saved to a file named "config.ini". Sounds like that AllDup dont have enough access rights to save the options to this file. Choose "Show log" at the left menu bar to open the log file. The log file is saved inside the same folder like the settings file. Does "config.ini" exist inside this folder? The folder should be similar to"C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\AllDup".
